Congressional Reform

Call To Action!

It will never be accomplished unless "WE" do something about it now, not later!! The only way that congress would ever vote for such a bill is for Americans to demand it to the point that our elected officials feel they have no choice. That means many Americans, which includes you, must push to get a bill written and persuade a majority to vote for it. Therefore, this must be distributed to every American who has a PC or mailbox….every American! Will you help, or are you just blowing smoke when you get upset with congress as they play partisan politics? Lets help bring about a "Change in Washington" that is more than just spoken words, a "Change" that Americans will be proud of, a "Change” that will benefit future generations. If something is not done, our children and grandchildren may not have a country like we had to grow up in. It doesn't matter what political party you like. This is what's best for EVERY AMERICAN!

Can Americans depend on you to distribute this and support it or will you make excuses as to why it will not work? I'm in what about you????

Congressional Reform Act of 2010

1. Term Limits: 12 years only, one of these possible options: A. Two 6 year Senate terms, B. Six 2 year House terms, or C. One 6 year Senate term and three 2 year House terms.

  1. I had to back off of posting "political stuff" on Facebook because some of my friends asked me to (I really can't blame them) but I will link to your excellent post on my blog.

  2. Hey Carol- you sure do put lots of effort into all of this. Ever wonder how much more time you would have if this wasn't in your life? What would you do with all of that free time? Ride a bike? Learn about new music? Go visit a foreign country, perhaps- or practice meditation on healing yourself. I used to be just like you- thinking that being more involved would be better- but I couldn't see the forest for the trees. I got deep enough in to realize that all of this stuff is rigged. You are led to believe that voting makes a difference, that you have a choice, and can make a change. Corporations are the ones deciding the way the country runs and they pull the strings. I realized that there was nothing I could do about it and I need to spend more time with the people that I love and nurture them- not running in this hamster wheel. You have to realize that all of these politicians are just actors, and they all work for the same boss whether they know it or not. Next time you are on vacation and get away from the details for a minute, take an objective look at the entire scenario and big overall decisions about country policy as a whole, and you will see it's all being pulled in the same direction. I've stopped focusing on the macrocosmos and now focus on the microcosmos- my life has changed for the better. Just a suggestion from a friend.

    1. I've already ride a bike, write music, sing in a choir, direct the children's choir, write and direct our Christmas pageants, paint, sew, party, laugh and enjoy my family. I've already worked and retired, yet still work. My life is full. But, it's important that we reverse the direction this country is going, so I do what I can to help. Thanks for your concern!
